Taylors Lane Playgroup Membership

Our playgroup is open to all residents living in the City of Knox with children aged 0-5 years.

Your Membership Includes:

Use of our centre during your three hour playgroup session once a week, every week during the school terms.
Access to our events.

Flexibility

Once a member you can change groups or be an active member of more than one group. So if you have two young children of different ages, you can join two playgroup sessions so your children can make their own friends with similarly aged children.

A Few Rules

Many members really enjoy their playgroup sessions, just as much as their children. As a member we expect you to help when you can and abide by some simple rules so everyone can continue enjoying Taylors Lane Playgroup.

As a member we expect you to:

Be responsible for your children at all times – we are not a child care centre.
“Sign-in” to our attendance registry at each playgroup session and every time you enter our centre, so that you are covered by the insurance.
Be familiar with our policies and procedures – in case anything goes wrong, you know what to do in an emergency.
Report any maintenance issues – so that we can either repair or replace damaged equipment and toys.
Volunteer – Without parents helping out our centre can not run. We require 2 members from each group to volunteer for a position on our committee. we hold a working bee every term, which if you attend you will be reimbursed that terms Maintenance fee.
No Nuts – or nut related food into our centre. We are a nut free centre.
Pay your membership – within three weeks of joining and pay your renewal fee on time (otherwise you will not be covered by insurance). WE ARE NOT CHARGING FEES IN 2021
Welcome new members – new members may join your group during the year. Please make them feel welcome and show them around.
Clean up – after each playgroup session so that the next playgroup can enjoy the facilities.
